The Beginning
It is part of Indian Psychic & Understanding that “ Sharing with others” leads to inner satisfaction & fulfillment. Therefore for healthy life share your knowledge, share your prosperity, share your success etc.
The four people joined hands DR CA Alok Shah, Kalpesh Shah, Iqbal Hakim & myself with different philosophy & that is “Returning with Responsibility”. If we are successful & prosperous large number of relatives , friends & society in general has contributed to it & it is time to return the same to society with responsibility.
The idea of Floating the Foundation surfaced. The need for having Feedback was felt & it was positive during two informal Get Together organized for the purpose Prof. D V Baloni, CS Ashwin Shah & Shri Prakash Bhatt joined the team.
The consensus emerged in formation of “Foundation” according to companies Act instead of formation of Trust. The Brand name of Foundation as “Aman Annand” was approved.
The formal announcement was made on the Day of Dashera in October 2013 & formal application to The Registrar was made where by Foundation got registered according to Companies Act with Legal entity on January 17 2014.
The responsibility to lead fell on me as I had retired & could spare time & money for the cause. The understanding has been that younger team will take over after three to four years after spade work is done.
The role of Sama Varishtha Mitra Mandal was very encouraging & our first activity was donation to SVMM for subscribing magazines for Sr. Citizens. Many joint activites followed with them. The experience with Sanket Trust was enlightening as a visit to cataract operation camp near Padra.
Shri Arun Advani & Shri Jayesh Jaindani joined to make a team of nine which eventually became the team of eighteen as Prof. Vilas Chauhan, shri Manjit Banga, Shri Nabil Shamsi, Shri Ram Sunder, Shri Nilesh Taunk. Shri Harit Bhatt, Shri Punjwani & Prof. PR Pancholi also joined.
Many friends & supporters also joined particularly Prof. & Mrs. Dilip & Savitri Chellani, Prof G S Patel, Prof Adish Jain, Prof J K Syan, shri Rahul Kanagat making the team of thirty plus.
Today on Vijay Dashmi 22 October 2015 the Foundation is completing two years. It is also occasion to acknowledge the Fundamental & Foundation Contribution of Prof.I P Vyas & Shri Arunbhai Brahmbhatt
There has been feeling among common friends that it is time to share some of our successes & achievements with the society & contribute to social cause along with social enjoyment & satisfaction.
Our objective is to help ourselves by helping others. We get satisfaction by making others happy. We get feeling of fulfillment by attaining the problems of others. Therefore our signature line is “ Self Actualization through Social Welfare “
1. Senior Citizens
Provide the support to Sr. Citizens through following activities
- Arrange medical check up for them.
- Counseling as & when required
- Arrange get together with Lunch or dinner
- Outings for change & entertain programs
- Any activity decided by Executive Council to achieve the objectives.
2. Education
Provide educational support through following activities
- Fees support to those who cannot afford.
- Books or academic aides to those who cannot afford
- Scholarships / recognition to brilliant students
- Arrange competitions for students or support other NGO for the same
- Any activity decided by Council to achieve the objectives.
3. Nutrition & medicines for better health to poor primary students
Provide nutritive food/fruits & medicines for better health to poor students of Govt. & other primary schools in cities & villages.
4. Cultural Activities
Support activities to encourage Music, Drama and other cultural activities.
5. Religious harmony
Arrange programs and activities to enhance harmony among various religions.e.g. Participation/contribution in festivals like Eid, GuruNanik Jayanti, Mahavir Jayanti, Xmas, Bhudha Jayanti.
6. To Collaborate, support and co-ordinate NGOs, Trust engaged in similar activities.

MISSION STATEMENT
“SELF ACTUALIZATION THROUGH SOCIAL WELFARE”
‘Self actualization’ is a person’s lifelong process of realizing his/her potential to become a fully functioning person. In context of social welfare, the goal of self actualization is to be that ‘true self’, and the direction is toward “good life”, which is defined by what the society values. Self actualization is not a state but a process. It is the basic being of motivation. A self actualizing person is generally optimally healthy and growth oriented.
Aman Annand firmly believes that, values and embodied convictions blend the personal and professional use of ‘Self’. By undertaking social activities, we are not only contributing to the society but, we are contributing to ‘Self’ also. The main objective of Aman Annand is to promote a strong value based mission and practice mandate to facilitate opportunities with the society for its human growth and actualization. The sole purpose of Aman Annand is to play the role of a ‘Facilitator’ or ‘Catalyst’ in giving the society a life-changing experience that allows an individual to become self-actualized.
